Author Guidelines

Submission Preparation Checklist

i. As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
ii. The submission has not been previously published or previously sent to another journal.
iii. Manuscripts must be written in English.
iv. The uploaded file is in Microsoft Word document.
v. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements listed in the Authors’ Guidelines.
vi. If submitting to the peer-reviewed section of the journal, authors must make sure that the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
vii. The author/s guarantee(s) the authorship of the documents presented, as well as any text or image. If the work has significant contributions from more than one author, all should appear as co-authors. All authors must meet these criteria for authorship and, conversely, no-one should be omitted from the list if he/she meets these criteria.
viii. The Author/s guarantee(s) that the rights to the images presented in the work have been secured, and the right to cite has been properly used, thus complying in full with Intellectual Property Law.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 10-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Articles

All submitted manuscripts will be initially reviewed by Editorial Board to check for scope, contribution, originality, novelty, format and plagiarism. If the article matches the journal requirements, at least 2 (two) peer reviewers are assigned to review the manuscript with the Double-Blind Peer Review Process. After the review process is finished, the assigned editor makes the decision for the article. If the article needs revision, the manuscript is returned to the authors to revise. If the decision requires major revision or resubmission, the revised manuscript that has been resubmitted by the submitter is sent back to the previous peer reviewers for re-evaluation. After that, the editor makes the final decision to accept or reject the manuscript.  In each manuscript reviewed, peer reviewers will be rated based on the substantial and technical aspects.

Authors could recommend potential reviewers on the cover letter. Journal editors will check to make sure there are no conflicts of interest before contacting those reviewers and will not consider those with competing interests. Reviewers are asked to declare any conflicts of interest. Authors could also enter the names of potential peer reviewers they wish to exclude from consideration in the peer-review of their manuscript, during the initial submission progress. The editorial team will respect these requests as long as this does not interfere with the objective and thorough assessment of the submission. The peer review is based on the expertise and experiences in research and publication relevant to the field of the manuscript to be reviewed. The number of citations and an h-index value of peer reviewers is parameter examples for consideration in assigning as a reviewer.
